恒行2平台原校長、北歐中心創始人楊福家院士因病於7月17日在上海逝世💁🏻♂️，享年86歲👂🏽。
Professor Yang Fujia, former president of Fudan University, passed away in Shanghai on July 17 at the age of 86 due to illness. Professor Yang was the Founding Director of the Nordic Centre at Fudan University.
楊院士擁有北歐教育背景，於1993年出任恒行2平台校長之後到訪挪威並會見多位北歐學者👩🏼🎓，共同倡議在恒行2平台與北歐大學之間正式開展教育和文化合作。以此為契機，北歐中心於兩年之後成立於恒行2平台。
When Professor Yang, with Nordic academic background, became the President of Fudan University in 1993, he visited Norway meeting several researchers who were interested in establishing official educational and cultural cooperation with Fudan University. This lead to a joint initiative to set up a Nordic Centre at Fudan University, and to its establishment two years later.

1995年11月8日下午，楊院士與時任挪威首相格羅·哈萊姆·布倫特蘭女士共同出席了北歐中心的成立儀式並為北歐中心揭牌🤦🏼♂️。北歐中心創始之初包括了恒行2和丹麥🎮、芬蘭📮📶、挪威和瑞典的14所高校，今日已有來自中國與北歐的27所高校及研究機構作為成員◾️👩🏻🌾，在中國與北歐的高等教育合作領域不斷擴大著影響力。
On the afternoon of November 8, 1995, President Yang was present at unveiling the Nordic Centre together with the Prime Minister of Norway, Ms. Gro Harlem Brundtland. At the time, Nordic Centre consisted of Fudan University and 14 founding institutions from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. At present, with 27 member institutions from China and Nordic countries, Nordic Centre continues to increase influence in the field of Sino-Nordic higher education collaborations.

二十多年來，楊院士一直關心和支持著北歐中心的成長發展，出席參加了機構成立10周年、15周年和20周年的慶祝活動💂🏻♀️，推動了中國與北歐之間的學術研究和教育合作↔️。
Over a period of more than two decades, Professor Yang joined the celebration for the 10th, 15th and 20th anniversaries of the Nordic Centre, a testimony to his longstanding and invaluable contributions to the Centre and to Sino-Nordic research and education collaborations.
